Biography:

Trevor Brown is the Executive Director of the Ammonia Energy Association (AEA), which he founded in 2016, and chair of the Topical Conference on Ammonia Energy at the AIChE Annual Meeting.

The AEA serves as a global news and information portal for ammonia as a renewable fuel and energy vector. It also organises a major annual conference every year in the USA. The next of these is to be held in New Orleans, November 11-13, 2024.

Trevor has a particular interest in the communication of risk surrounding ammonia, given the huge anticipated increase in its use as an industrial fuel. In the AEA’s 2013 Annual Conference in Sacramento, California, this was the topic of his presentation.
