Biography:
Jordan is principal of the GEG Group of Companies, which is headquartered in Iceland and engages globally in geothermal energy. Core activities of the Group include project development, project finance and IP asset management. A major achievement of the GEG Group has been its 2023-2024 success becoming a Finalist of the Milken-Motsepe Prize in Green Energy, a prestigious international competition.
He has held appointments to a number of boards including regulated entities. As part of this work he has travelled to over 70 countries across all continents except Antarctica.
Jordan began his career in central banking at the Bank of Canada. He went on to hold senior positions with financial and energy companies, leading the development of sixteen renewable power plant projects with combined revenue and investment in excess of $200 million, and financing nineteen high rise towers in highly competitive markets with total portfolio value over $1 billion.
A dual Canadian-British citizen, Jordan holds degrees in Economics, Philosophy and International Relations, studying at Queen’s University, The University of Edinburgh and The London School of Economics.
