Professor Edman Tsang

Professor of Chemistry, Head of the Wolfson Catalysis Laboratory, University of Oxford

Biography:

Edman is Professor of Chemistry and Head of the Wolfson Catalysis Laboratory at the University of Oxford. He has direct interests in chemistry materials and applied catalysis in green energies and environment.

His current focus is on catalytic materials and technologies in Green ammonia, which includes ammonia absorption, catalytic ammonia production by thermal, photo, electrochemical means, and decomposition to couple with PEM fuel cells.

In collaboration with Siemens, the University of Cardiff and STFC under EPSRC/IUK, his group has recently established a demonstration unit in Harwell from wind power to ammonia production.
